These in-class poster projects required me to use text and image in order to create unified works of art. In the City Life poster, I learned to use Photoshop in order to combine different pieces of imagery with text and symbolize an aspect of urban life.

The Growing Spirit poster was made by using Illustrator and Photoshop with typeface letters I have created beforehand titled Nature Letters. In these two posters, I was once again tasked with using text and imagery, but this time, symbolizing nature.

During my time at Lettuce Live Well, a non-profit community healthy living promoter, I was responsible in creating the Mid-Michigan Health Revolution’s Smash Bash kick-off event print materials. This included banners, flyers, and social media graphics. By incorporating the Health Revolution’s color scheme throughout each project, I was able to achieve unity and consistency. What worked well throughout these projects was getting the viewers to focus on the important information of the event and working with a color scheme that may seem hard to incorporate, but working through that misconception, I was able to create a captivating, exciting, and legible final product.
