Snail Icon

In this class project titled Snail Icon, I was tasked with creating an icon of an animal, of my choosing, by using the pen tool in Illustrator to create the finalized version of the project. When first starting this project and learning what an icon was, small animals came to mind because the word "icon" made me think of a small object being represented with simplicity, thus, the idea of a snail come to play. As a start, I sketched out various ways I could go about representing a snail and then selected the best aspects of each one and rendered them as one snail image. With some helpful class critiques of my work, I was able to edit and finalize my snail icon.
